Thanks

It has been so many years since when I first put pen to paper in school and discovered the number 22. Ever since it has opened up a world for me which I never knew existed and which today I still consider to be ‘Stranger than fiction itself’.

Somewhat many years later and after I had discovered the Number 22, everywhere I went, I saw the number 22 and when I least expected it.. On billboards.. On signposts.. On the back of car number plates.. Every time I looked at the time on a clock, it would be 22: 22 or 2:22 or 2:22 or 11:11 etc.. Every time I got a ticket to a particular event the number 22 always appeared in succession. I could be waiting in a queue and the waiting ticket will either be 8, 22 or 10.. When I stopped my car and looks at the speedometer dial it will say 22 or 222 miles. Even the Ginseng Teabags that I had bought had an expiry date of 22 / 02 / 06. My last long term relationship was with a girl who was born on the 02 – 02 1982 (1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = 20 = 2 + 0 = 2), not exactly any 22’s to be seen anywhere, however still a lot of number 2’s in the date of birth sequence.

In matters of importance such as obtaining legal governmental documentation my main numbers of 10 and 22 would always appear regardless. There was this one time, when I went to renew my passport and like all curious souls I had already anticipated that the number 22 would appear, however when I went to pull a ticket out of the stub it was a completely different number in the 100’s. This wasn’t surprising considering the chances of getting a two digit number such as 22 with the number of people that came to the passport office on a daily basis. I would have to of been one of the few lucky early arrivals to get a number like that, however the ticket number I obtained, correlated to the position that would appear on a different monitor screen hung on the wall in the waiting lobby and for all to keep a check on. A rather complicated system of being seen for an appointment however, I’m sure there was a method in their madness somewhere along the line. Anyway, as I a sat down to wait in line with my ticket, on the screen appeared my ticket number along with a voice announcement saying, ticket number 658 in position 22. Lo-behold the number 22 appeared next to my ticket number on the screen.. I was on a countdown to get to position number 1 and to be seen by the office clerk. While I was sitting there waiting for my turn, some people didn’t come forward for their allocated numbers, maybe cause they left and which ultimately meant that the number orders on the screen started shifting down faster and so that the numbers would start again from the beginning at the end of each cycle and as more and more people were seen. When it came to my turn, I was last on the list and at the end of the cycle. Instead of the number starting again from the beginning and for some odd and unapparent reason, The Number 22 appeared on the screen yet again next to my number. Realistically I should of been back at number 1 and at the front of the cycle and ready to be seen.. This was mind blowing stuff, however what blew my socks away further was that I took my ticket to the waiting clerk who lead me to the ticket desk and which when I approached the ticket desk had it’s own number. There and right in front of me and in big and bold numbers was the number 22 yet again. Oh’ and if that wasn’t mysterious enough.. The day I was called into the Passport office for renewal was the 22nd July, 2002.. All i can say is ‘go figure’!!!

Coming back to my first moment in time all those many years ago and when I first discovered my relationship with the number 22.. It was almost like I had set off a chain reaction of numerological significant events and just by being overly curious. To deny such observations would of be like living a life in ignorance. I just couldn’t do it.. Something deep down inside was telling me to just go with it and to allow it to pull me further into finding out about myself. I started looking a little deeper to find some ultimate answers that eventually rocked the foundations of my understanding of who I was, the world I lived in, and finding my role within it.. However for me, this is when ‘The Rise of 22″ began..

Back in the year 2002, and while I was still experimenting with Meditation after being diagnosed with a full blown Chronic Illness back in 1998, I started upon a journey of self discovery, not because I had a choice in the matter, but more because life had kind of forced the issue upon me. There was also something deep down that yearned for reclaiming my health, which had deteriorated considerably in the last 10 years and hopefully along the way finding my true self. With this in mind along with the desire to find out more about the number 22 and in my search for information on the number, along the way I discovered a strange and ancient occult like practice on the study of numbers called Numerology. Modern Numerology was founded by Pythagoras who was a Greek mathematician that lived from 569-470 B.C. Pythagoras, is what many believe to be the originator of much of what we call numerology today. The actual origins of numerology predate Pythagoras, the most popular being the very old Hebrew Kabbalah. In the twentieth century, the old discipline seems to have magically reappeared in the form of a series of books published from 1911-1917 by L. Dow Balliett and it was helped along in the 30s by Florence Campbell. In the next few decades a wealth of literature was made available to the public and in the past 90 years it would seem that the discipline had moved very rapidly, but perhaps all of this was known at a much earlier time, and it was just hiding from us for a while now.

Just to give you a little insight into the practice of Numerology and for those of you who have little knowledge on the subject matter. Numerology is the study of numbers in the occult manner, and in which they reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an integral part of the cosmic plan. Each letter has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and the sum of value derived from the letters in the name provide an interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about character, purpose in life, what motivates us, and where talents may lie. Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or just to relocate. I’m can not claim that I run my entire life through this process and on the path of numbers, but I kind of let life run it’s natural course and along the way I do what I ‘Feel’ I’m supposed to do.. For me it’s like a the study of one self and just to make sure I am the person that I feel I’m supposed to be and not what ‘society’ dictates. The numbers are just a guide to those who see them and to guide them along their own path.

Numerology for me is recognizing the events and signs all around you and which are all marked with a set of numerical configurations.. Pretty much like the equations that scientists and mathematicians use to test or determine and test theories and events. When the meaning of certain circumstances and events become ambiguous and superfluous in your life and where logic and reason fails to find answers to your questions, then look no further than collective unconscious and the meaning through numbers. Where artificial constructs such as ‘words’ fail to explain, the understanding of ‘Number’s take you on a journey through a moment in space and time.. That precious moment is called ‘Life’.

For those of you that would like to look further into Numerology.. Check out the following website by Michael McClain – http://www.astrology-numerology.com/numerology.html  It was the first website that I discovered on my journey of self and discovery into the realm of numbers. Some of the Numerological information on this page are extracts from Numerology Website by Michael McClain and paraphrased in italic to explain my experiences with the Number 22. His website clearly defines the concept of Numerology and how to make the necessary calculations yourself. Why rewrite something when it has already been eloquently been written and laid out. I have integrated small chunks of the informationto explain my own set of circumstances and in detail.

NUMEROLOGY

1. The Number 22 and the Life Path Number i.e. Date of Birth

So the first thing I learned about myself in Numerology was a Life Path Number which determines the meaning behind a date of birth. In my case that being  22 – 2 – 22. So when you add it up and reduce it down to the single digit just as before you get the following

My Date of Birth is: 22 – 02 -1975
2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1     or    22 + 2 + 22 = 46 = 4 + 6 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1

The Conclusion therefore is the number 1. The first consideration in numerology is the total of the sum of the birth date known as a Life Path number which in my case is the Number 1 and which represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life.

The following is a highly condensed version detailing the outline of Life Path ‘1’ characteristics

The Life Path Number 1/10:

Is Associated with the Sun and the astrological fire signs, those who tread the first life path are characterized by strength, ambition and energy. This path combines the courage of Leo with the drive of Sagittarius and the competitive spirit of Aries – an unstoppable combination. The number 1 journey unfolds within two distinct phases of learning. Firstly you must become independent. This can be a struggle, as it is likely that you will have been born into a culture or environment of over-dependency and obedience. It may take you many years to find your power and recognize your spirit of fire. Once you have achieved independence you must learn to become a leader. Leadership can take many forms but if you do not follow your convictions or if you attempt to live as a follower you will become restless and dissatisfied.

As your number 1 personality develops, independence and leadership will be the key to your personal fulfillment, and you will pursue this with single-minded determination. Your own needs and aspirations will outweigh all other considerations and you may become quite ruthless in pursuit of your own interests.Your exceptional energy will be a powerful driving force, creatively inspired and contagiously enthusiastic. You may have a tendency to be domineering and need to learn the value of other people’s views and opinions

My Conundrum

Now for me.. Here’s the greatest conundrum of them all.. All of the above is true in every sense of the word about my character and personality.. I have condensed it down considerably from the original and trying to keep on track without getting carried away with all the details, however this is where things start getting a bit complicated for me and with the life path number.. My Mother was born under the Leo horoscope, my Sister under Sagittarius and my father under the Aries star sign. According to the basic Numerological reading above.. There are three Astrological fire signs that combine the courage of Leo, with the drive of Sagittarius and the competitive spirit of Aries which define who I am. Not exactly sure what the unstoppable part is supposed to represent. Another thing that rings true was the fact that I was ‘at first’ born into a culture or environment of over-dependency and obedience.. however ever since becoming an adult and also due to a few other uncontrollable events in my life have changed this alignment and allowing the grip to be released and in search of self dependent path.

Now if I take this numerological process a step further.. For example try to analyze my Mothers and Grand Mothers date of birth.. This is what I get..

My Mothers Date of Birth is: 06 – 08 – 1952 but adds up to two different Life Path Numbers
6 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 2 = 31 = 3 + 1 = 4   or   6 + 8 (1 + 9 + 5 + 2 = 17 = 1 + 7 = 8) + 8 = 22

My Grandmothers Date of Birth is: 09 – 06 – 1933 and also adds up to two different life path Numbers
9 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 3 + 3 = 31 = 3 + 1 = 4   or   9 + 6 (1 + 9 + 3 + 3 = 16 = 1 + 6 = 7) + 7 = 22

In the calculations of things, they both have two different Life Path Numbers 4 and 22.
22 is a Master Number, however deduced down further it becomes 4,  however they are both one and the same 22 and 4..

How can this be????

So now just to throw a spanner in the works.. I also did the same number deduction down with my Fathers Date of Birth and I got the number 11.. The Number 11 is obviously Half of 22

I am starting to believe the number 22 has been passed down on to me through like an almost virtual geneaology link..

One date of birth giving birth to the other and carrying the 4 and 22 right to my date of birth 22 – 2 – 22(1975). I think it’s inextricably linked and by far more than just a coincidence.

In Numerology..  the Number 22 and The Number 11 are considered Master Numbers

The 22 is the most powerful of all numbers. It is often called the Master Builder. The 22 can turn the most ambitious of dreams into reality. It is potentially the most successful of all numbers. It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodical nature of the 4. It is unlimited, yet disciplined. It sees the archetype, and brings it down to earth in some material form. It has big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership, and enormous self-confidence.

If not practical, the 22s waste their potential. Like the 11, the 22 can easily shrink from its own ambition, causing difficult interior pressures. Both the 11 and the 22 experience the pressure-cooker effect very strongly, particularly at an early age. It must work toward the realization of goals that are larger than personal ambition. The 22 serves the world in a practical way.

The number 22, like 11 itself is a duality between 4 and 2. It is also able to make the ideal, real. This number is sacred to those who wield it because of its rarity, and also its special powers. It is a number able to face the challenges of the world, and make a difference, if it is not distracted by its surroundings, and making for itself its own pressure.

2. The Number 22 and The Destiny Number

The next step in Numerology was to analyze your birth name. For personal reasons I have refrained from using my real name on this blog. My real name is characterized and influenced by a long lined Islamic bloodline and heritage. I am of Arab, Asian and Persian ancestry and so is my real name, and whether intentional or not the names contain metaphorical characterizations.. The meaning of my birth name translated means Prince, Ruler and King. It is unlikely that his name was chosen intentionally, howeveer It’s just the way the cookie crumbled I believe.. I am anything but a Prince, Ruler and King of what land.. I kind of laugh at the fact that I have no Kingdom or land that I can call my own.. Although would be nice.. Haha
Very similar to the Life Path Number which represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life, a given name at birth can reveal what is called a ‘Destiny Number’. A Destiny number is derived from all of the letters in your FULL BIRTH NAME, and make up what is called The Destiny or Destiny number. This is the number that describes the tasks that you must achieve in this lifetime using the name given to you. The complete birth name, symbolizes the opportunities you have at your disposal. This is sometimes referred to as your potential or destiny. Living up to attributes of this number may not be easy, but it is your goal in the here and now. It is your life’s purpose, spiritual mission, and your field of opportunity. Unlike the Life Path number which reads as you are, the Destiny number more correctly reads as you MUST or what you can aspire to become.
To arrive at your Destiny number, take each name separately and add up the letter values using the conversion chart below. Reduce each name to a single digit . Then add the results of all of the names to arrive at a total, which you then once again reduce to a single digit. Don’t use nicknames, assumed name, deviations in spelling used, or omit any part of the birth name. Use it as it appears on the birth certificate. Don’t worry about changes to the name (married name, etc.), just stay with complete birth name. Don’t count Jr. Sr., III, etc. following the name.

You can also use the graph to chart the number representative of your Destiny Number. In regards to myself, the following occurs.Destiny Number Graph

My first name consists of 1, 8, 1, 8, 1, 4 = 23 (2 + 3 = 5) 5
My middle name consists of 8, 1, 1, 1, 1, 5 = 17 (1 + 7 = 8) 8
My surname consists of 1, 8, 1, 8 = 18 (1 + 8 = 9) 9
In Total = 23 + 17 + 18 = 22 or either way 5 + 8 + 9 = 22

So therefore my Destiny Number is 22  or 4

3. The Number 22 and The Life Path Periods
During the natural course of life from birth to natural death and provided we live long enough, we will experience ‘Three Life Path Periods’. The life periods are based on the date of birth. The number representing the month of birth, reduced to a single digit or master number is the first life path period indicator. The second life path period is determined by the day of birth reduced to a single digit or master number. The final period is based on the year of birth reduced to a single digit or master number.

The timing of the first period begins at birth and continues until at least when in astrological progression the Moon has returned to its original place in the birth chart. This is about 28 years.

To estimate the completion of the first period and the beginning of the second life path period, determine the year that the subject turns the age of 28. For me it was the year 2003.

Next, calculate the ‘Personal Year’ for the subject that year i.e. reduce the month and day of your birth, your birthday, to a single digit. Using my birthday for example, February 22nd, that single digit would be 1 (2+2=4; 0+2=1)= 6. If your month and day total comes to 11 or 22, the master numbers, in this instance, reduce the number to 2 and 4, respectively. Next, reduce the year for which you are making the calculation to a single digit. The year 2003 ( 2+3=5) would become 5. Now, add the single digit representing your birthday to the single digit representing the year in question. Thus, 2003 is a 2 personal year for me. ( the meaning of a personal year can be found here – http://www.astrology-numerology.com/num-personalyear.html

If it is a 1 personal year, this year should be considered the beginning of the second life path period. If it is a 2 personal year for the subject, the previous year should be considered the beginning of the second life path period. If it is a 3-9 personal year, the beginning of the second life path period will not occur until the beginning of the next nine year cycle, i.e. the next 1 personal year. This same process should be used to determine the beginning of the third life path period. For this, it is the 1 personal year a year before, on, or after, the 56th birthday.

For me I reached the age of 28 in the year = 2003 2 + 0 + 0 + 3 = 5

Date of Birth – Month – 02 / Day – 22

Day of Birth = 22 (2 + 2) = 4
Month = 02  = 2

Total (4 + 2) = 6

Combining the reduced number from the Part Date of Birth plus the reduced number of the year you turn 28.. For me 2003 =5

5 + 6 = 11 ( 1 + 1 ) = 2 = Personal Year Number 2
If it’s a number 2 personal year for the subject, the previous year should be considered the beginning of the second life path period.

Therefore 2002 was the beginning of the Second Life Path Period Number for me

The year 2002 is  2 + 0 + 0 + 2 =The Number 22

So far these are some of the Numerological principles that I used to determine the significance of The Number 22 in my life.. However that’s where the buck did not stop.. Below you will find other examples of the number 22 and where they have appeared in my life..

The Number 22 – Life in General

The Number 22 and the Age of Pisces

The Age of Pisces began it’s orb of influence in the year 222/220BC/BCE (Heindel-Rosicrucian based interpretation). It fully entered into its first stage in 498AD/ACE, when the Vernal equinox occurred in the northern hemisphere, which is attributed to the constellation of Pisces, and at the same time in the southern hemisphere an autumnal equinox occurs in Virgo. In Astrology the opposite sign of Pisces is Virgo. The Age of Pisces will reign right up until 2600AD/CE. An Astrological Age is a time period in Astrology which is believed to cause  major changes in the Earth’s inhabitants development. It roughly corresponds to the time taken for the vernal equinox to move through one of the twelve constellations of the zodiac.

Ramesses II – and The Number  ‘22’.
In 1290 BCE/BC Ramesses ‘The Great’ carved two unique temples into the rocks of Abu Simbel 280km (175miles) south of Aswan in a remote and isolated part of lower Nubia. The first southern temple was built in the year 34 of Ramesses II reign and was dedicated to the sun god Ra-Horakhti, Amun, Ptah god of the Underworld and Ramsses himself as the God King. To the north of the Great Temple, lies the second temple of Nefertari, Ramesses Greatest and beloved Queen which was also dedicated to Hathor. Both Temples, however face east to receive the rays of the rising sun. At the forecourt of the Ramesses Great Temple, a short flight of steps lead up to the terrace in front of the massive rock cut facade, which is guarded by Four Collosal Statues of Ramesis II that sit majestically, staring across the desert, almost as if looking through time itself. However there only remain three statues, as the inner left statue collapsed during antiquity and it’s upper body lies on the ground, left like this when the temple was moved and restored. The main aspect of this temple is that the inner most chamber is the sacred sanctuary, where the four gods of the Great Temple sit on their thrones and wait for dawn. The temple is aligned in such a way that on 22nd February and 22nd October every year, the first rays of the rising sun reach across the Nile and penetrate the temple, move along the hypostyle hall, through the vestibule and into the sanctuary, where they illuminate the somewhat mutilated figures of Ra-Horakhti, Ramesses, Amun and to the left, lord of the underworld Ptah (God of Darkness) is never illuminated. Until the temples were moved, this phenomenon occurred one day earlier. The 21st October and 21st February, and at that particular period of time were the beginning and end of the solstice’s known as the two furthest extremities of the equinox, the beginning and end of the cycle of change. That being said the 22nd of October however was marked as the birth of Ramesses II, and 22nd February was the Ascension of Ramesses II to the throne. It has been suggested that these dates to coincide with his birth, his ascension to the throne and the positioning of the temple were divine and magical acts.. Zahi Hawass however believes that it was only an astronomical feature. I believe that an individual can not choose his own birth date, especially if it coincides with an equinox, and as well as this feature his Ascension to throne coinciding with the end of the equinox could not also of been chosen unless Seti I, fell victim to a horrid conspiracy that may of been lead by his succesor, sole heir and son Ramesses II. There are no records of such an event occurring.. The Great Temple of Abu Simbel marked a milestone in constructional engineering ahead of most civilizations.

The Number 22 in Mathematical Principals

22 (twenty-two) is the natural number following 21 and preceding 23.

22 – Twenty-two is a composite number, its proper divisors being 1, 2 and 11.

22 – Twenty-two is a pentagonal number and a centered heptagonal number.

22 – When cutting a circle with just six line segments, the maximum number of pieces that can be so created is 22, thus 22 is a central polygonal number (see lazy caterer’s sequence).

22 – divided by 7 gives the number “pi”, which represents the mysterious and approximate ratio of the perimeter of a circle to its diameter.
The sum of the totient function for the first eight integers is 22.

22 – is a Perrin number, preceded in the sequence by 10, 12, 17.

22 – It is a Smith number in base 10.

The Periodic Table

22 – The atomic number of titanium. Titanium is the strongest metal in the world.

In Symbolism

22 – Represents the movement, the infinity.

22 – Symbolizes the end of a cycle, and for the man, the end of the obligatory reincarnations on the earth.

22 – Represent the creation, which is the manifestation of the 21, according to R. Allendy. It is amongst other things the significance of the “principle of differentiation, 2, being added to the initial differentiation of the Cosmos 20 to subdivide the parts and to generate, by this means, the complex mechanism of the nature – 2 + 2 = 4. (…) With 22, we see the play of the opposite particular initiative – 22 = 11 x 2 -, to balance in the natural mechanism”.

The Number 22 in the realm of Gods and Religion

22 – The 22 elements by which God created the world.

22 – At his Ascension, by twenty-two times Jesus blesses the creation.

22 – Before Jesus died, Jesus exclaimed “Eli Eli lama sabactani” which is the beginning of the psalm 22.

22 – The Word of God is at the 22th level of conscience. The cosmic conscience would subdivide indeed into 24 dimensional or spiritual levels. The maximal conscience level, the 24th, would be attributable only to the God-Father and the 23th level would be considered as being an energy protective area surrounding the level 24. The 22th level of conscience would be also that of the antique Elohim also named the 24 Ancients.

22 – Twenty-two is the number of biblical books of the Old Testament – Hebrews and Protestants. This number is obtained by counting for only one book the twelve minor prophets, as well as the Judges, the Kings, Ezra, the Chronicles (each one being generally divided into two books). It is also necessary to integrate Ruth with the Judges and the Lamentations with Jeremiah. And it is thanks to this last restriction that we obtain finally 22 instead of 24. Flavius Joseph (Against Apion, I, 8, 1st s.) is the first one to have proposed a distribution in 22 books.

22 – The Mezuzah contains fifteen verses of the last book the Old Testament, the Deuteronomy, VI, 4-9 and XI, 13-21, for a total of 170 words, always written in 22 lines. This small roll is inserted in a tube of wood or metal and is attached to the superior right side on the frame of a door, according to the commandment of the Bible: “And you will write them on the frame of the door of your house” .

Ancient Language Construct
22 – Several old alphabets had twenty-two letters: Chaldean, Sabean, Roman, Copt and Hebraic (Hebrew). The letters of the Hebraic (Hebrew) alphabet are divided into three mother letters (Aleph, Mem, Shin), seven double letters (Beth, Guimel, Daleth, Kaph, Phe, Resh, Tau) twelve simple letters (He, Waw, Zain, Heth, Teth, Yod, Lamed, Nun, Samekh, Ayin, Tzade, Qoph).

22 – According to saint Yves of Alveydre, the primitive alphabet of all the humanity, at the period of “Ram” (adam alphabet or “Watan”), would have comprised 22 signs.

22 – Salemi points out that the Hebrew Candelabra includes 22 chalices, 22 apples and 22 flowers by counting the point superior of the axis.

Mysticism, Alchemy, Spirituality and Cosmology

22 -According to S. Doucet and J.-P. Larosee, the man is composed twenty-two evolutionary bodies gathered in four categories: subtle body, energy body, galactic body and temporal body. Each one of these 22 bodies is formed of 1296 “partitions” that they call circumferences, vibrating each one at a precise frequency. This number 1296 is called “Energizing number”, since it is the product of 12 (Cosmic number) and 108 (Universal number). By multiplying 22 by 1296, they obtain the total number of 28512 circumferences composing the 22 evolutionary bodies of the man, that is according to them the number of the man and also that of Infinite Energy.

22 – The Cosmos would shelter 22 Super-Universe.

22 – “From the twenty-two great Masters that counted the “Templiers Order” since its creation to its term, seven lost the life in combats; five died of their wounds, one of voluntary fast, having fallen to hands of infidels. Finally, James Molay had to be burnt alive under Philip the Bel, but the Order was dissolved when this crime occurred. It is therefore on the whole thirteen great Masters in function who paid of their existence the honor to command the soldiers of Christ.” (John Carpentier)

22 – Twenty-two is the number of writable regular polygons in an Euclidiean circle: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 45, 60, 72, 90, 120, 180, 360. These are twenty-two of the twenty-four dividers of 360, the two first, 1 and 2, not defining polygons.

22 – Twenty-two is one of the ten Master Numbers in Numerology. This number is considered extremely unstable because of its ability to switch between itself and 4, its sum. According to Numerology, this Life Path number is hard to master because it is the number of “vision with action.” 22 also signifies the number of the builder, and most astrologers consider it to be one of the strongest esoteric forms, along with 11 and 33.

22 – Since Twenty-two is a pentagonal number and a centered heptagonal number, the pentagonal number configurations is a figurate number that represents a geometric shape called a Pentagon. In Geometry a pentagon is any five-sided polygon. However, the term is commonly used to mean a regular pentagon, where all sides are equal and all angles are equal (to 108Ī). Now if you combine all the five points of the Pentagon shape by drawing a line in between every point, inverse of the Pentagram shape, what you get is five straight lines that form a five pointed star known as a ‘Pentagram’. The word pentagram comes from the Greek word meaning roughly “five-lined” or “five lines”.

Pentagon

Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia. The Pentagram has magical associations, and many people who practice pagan faiths wear them. Christians once commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus, and it also has associations within Freemasonry.
The pentagram has long been associated with the planet Venus, and the worship of the goddess Venus, or her equivalent. It is also associated with the Roman Latin name ‘Lucifer’meaning “light-bearer” (from lux, “light”, and ferre, “to bear, bring”), a Roman astrological term for the “Morning Star”, the planet Venus, the bringer of light and knowledge. It is most likely to have originated from the observations of prehistoric astronomers. When viewed from Earth, successive inferior conjunctions of Venus plot a nearly perfect pentagram shape around the zodiac every eight years.

As far as Christian Mythology is concerned the name ‘Lucifer’ bears no relevance to it’s relation as the proper name for Satan. The Christian Ideology of a literal fall from heaven was drawn from Homeric Tradition of the fall of Hephaestus from Olympus and the fall of the Titans, described by Hesiod and famous literature that was familiar to many at the time and period. These Popular epitomes influenced Christian Authors who were looking to embellish the fall of Lucifer, however it was not until St Geromes translation of Isaiah 14:12 that made the name and identity of Lucifer as the principal fallen angel, who must lament the loss of his original glory as the morning star. This image at last defines the character of Satan; where the Church Fathers had maintained that ‘Lucifer’ was not the proper name of the Devil, and that it referred rather to the state from which he had fallen; St. Jerome gave it Biblical authority when he transformed it into Satan’s proper name. however It is noteworthy that the Old Testament itself does not at any point actually mention the rebellion and fall of Satan. This non-Scriptural belief assembled from interpretations of different passages, would fall under the heading Christian mythology, that is, Christian traditions that are derived from outside of church teachings and scripture.

The above Pentagram is a symbol of the Morning Star, the spiritual and graceful Lucifer, the number 5 and its relationship with the number 22.

For what is to come.. and the Future of ‘The Number 22’

I think at times it has been quite an overwhelming and frightening experience overall and discovering all this information about oneself.. Talking about myself in the third person sense is even more freaky, however sometimes hard not to do..

So here and for the first time in my life I have just let it all out.. What repercussions are to occur still remains to be seen.. However for me to keep it to myself would be an injustice to the world, if not for myself.. I am still on that proverbial path to being whoever I was supposed to be..

For what is to come and the Future of the Number 22 remains to seen.. I wait patiently.. Not sitting too tight.. and whilst just getting on with being myself..

Peace, Love and Light to the World..
