Galactic Alignment 2012 Update

On the 14th December 2012 at 15.24pm GMT.. There seem to be a strange atmosphere in the sky and during the setting of the sun. The light in the sky was acting rather strange and rather reactive, but what caught my attention was the behaviour of the clouds and the way the wind suddenly picked up. It was almost as if they were reacting to the way the blinding light was behaving..  For some reason I felt that it had something to do with the alignment.. At that precise moment I instantly pulled out my iPhone and took a snapshot of the sunset using my Star Walk App and to see where the Milkway was in conjunction with the setting of the Sun.. And this is what I saw..

This is by far the closest I have seen the Galactic Alignment with the Sun and the Center of the Milky Way and in between Sagittarius and Scorpio and the 13th Forbidden Zodiac Constellation of ‘Ophiuchus’ hidden behind.

Here’s another snapshot taken  the day after on the 15th December 2012 and at 11:11am. Ideally this is the time we are likely to see the alignment on the day of the 21st December, 2012.
